The Amazing Race: What Happened To Redmond & Matt?

"The Boys." Thirty-one-year-old Redmond is from Fremont, California. He is a former Navy Corpsman combat medic and motivational speaker. His partner was 29 years old, Matt, who is now an ex-pro snowboarder from Denver. Both racers gave an exhilarating performance throughout the show and always came on top positions in each leg. They were strong contenders to win the final cash prize.

Redmond Gets married LIVE on TV

The premiere episode on Lifetime brought My Great Big Live Wedding to Southern California, where Redmond Ramos, a former Navy Corpsman combat medic who lost his leg after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan, married his firefighting partner Krista Cona.

The new reality show My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tuterahas the celebrity wedding planner giving the most deserving couples in America the wedding of their dreams – live. The show will profile the couples and broadcast their weddings live. On the series premiere, former Navy Corpsman Combat Medic with the U.S. Marines Redmond Ramos and his fiancée firefighter Krista Cona are featured. In 2011, while deployed in Afghanistan, Redmond stepped on an IED and later lost his leg. He met Krista while competing at the Warrior Games, a a multi-sport event for wounded, injured or ill service personnel and veterans organized by the United States Department of Defense.

If Redmond looks familiar to you, you’re not alone. In 2017, he competed on the popular competition reality show The Amazing Race Season 29. Fellow competitors accused Redmond and his Amazing Race partner Matt of cheating; they came in fourth place. My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera airs Tuesdays at 10 pm on Lifetime.
